  • Conventional Banking and Insurance: These involve interest-based transactions, which are prohibited under Shariah law.
  • Alcohol Production and Sale: Companies engaged in alcohol-related activities are considered non-compliant.
  • Pork and Non-Halal Food: Businesses dealing with pork or non-halal food items fall into this category.
  • Gambling and Gaming: Activities related to gambling are not permissible.
  • Tobacco and Dangerous Drugs: These substances are considered non-halal.
  • Entertainment Contrary to Shariah: Companies involved in adult entertainment or other non-compliant entertainment activities are filtered out.
